Job Responsibilities:
- Collect concrete samples from RMC batches and conduct cube casting as per applicable IS standards.
- Prepare, label, and maintain concrete test cubes with proper identification.
- Perform compressive strength testing of concrete cubes at the specified testing ages, generally 7 days and 28 days.
- Maintain cube testing registers, test reports, and daily quality records.
- Ensure proper curing of concrete cubes as per applicable standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control Engineer and Plant Incharge regarding test results.
- Report any abnormal or below-specification test results to the concerned authority immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of cube testing equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures during sampling, casting, curing, and testing.
Required Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification.
Experience: 1–3 years in concrete cube testing or quality control at an RMC plant preferred.
Skills Required: Knowledge of concrete sampling, cube casting, curing, compressive strength testing, and basic record keeping.
