Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Gynaecology Nurse with a minimum of 8 years of clinical experience in gynaecology, women’s healthcare, and maternity care. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting gynaecologists during examinations and procedures, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the gynaecology and obstetrics department.
- Assist gynaecologists during outpatient consultations, pelvic examinations, and minor gynaecological procedures.
- Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, symptoms, medical histories, and treatment progress.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care for gynaecological surgeries.
- Care for antenatal, postnatal, and other women’s health patients, as applicable to the assigned unit.
- Educate patients regarding reproductive health, menstrual hygiene, contraception, family planning, and post-procedure care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies.
- Recognise changes in patient condition and promptly escalate emergencies to the treating doctor.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, medication charts, and patient documentation.
- Ensure infection prevention, sterilisation,



and safe handling of medical equipment.
- Provide emotional support, maintain patient confidentiality, and uphold patient dignity.
- Coordinate with doctors, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise and guide junior nurses and nursing assistants.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and quality standards.

Eligibility Criteria

- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in gynaecology, obstetrics, maternity care, or women’s healthcare.
- Valid nursing registration with the applicable State Nursing Council.
- Solid clinical assessment, patient-care, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of infection control, emergency response, and clinical documentation.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle sensitive patient situations professionally.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
