Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive with experience in the manufacturing industry.
The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials (C-parts, fasteners, hardware components) while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement of fasteners (nuts, bolts, screws, washers, etc.)
- Identify and develop new vendors; maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/production teams
- Ensure material quality as per specifications and standards
- Coordinate with QA/QC for supplier quality compliance
- Track and manage supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery)
- Maintain procurement records and documentation
- Work on cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
Key Skills Required:
- Solid knowledge of fasteners and C-parts
- Vendor development and negotiation skills
- Understanding of technical drawings/specifications
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems
- Problem-solving and analytical ability
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Additional certification in supply chain or procurement is a plus
Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years in procurement within fasteners / engineering / manufacturing industry
- Experience handling industrial components and vendor management
