Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and motivated Lighting Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of lighting design concepts, proficiency in DIALux and AutoCAD, and the ability to prepare qualified lighting layouts, presentations, and project documentation. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with team members and clients are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop lighting layouts and design concepts for residential, commercial, hospitality, and other architectural projects.
- Prepare lighting simulations, lux calculations, and illumination studies using DIALux.
- Prepare and revise lighting layouts, drawings, and technical details using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, and internal teams to understand project requirements.
- Prepare professional presentations, lighting proposals, and project documentation.
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), fixture schedules, and lighting specifications.
- Ensure lighting designs meet project requirements, functional needs, and aesthetic expectations.
- Incorporate client and consultant feedback and make revisions as required.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion and submission of projects.
- Maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and consistency across all design deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications





- Proficiency in DIALux for lighting calculations and simulations.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD for preparing and editing lighting layouts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Good presentation skills, with the ability to communicate design concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle
- multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A creative mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and adapt.

Preferred Qualifications

- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience in lighting design or architectural lighting is preferred.
- Basic understanding of lighting fixtures, optics, colour temperature (CCT), beam angles, and lighting applications.
- Knowledge of lighting controls and familiarity with lighting industry products would be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
