Job Description – Expert CNC Turner

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled CNC Turner with 10+ years of experience in CNC turning, programming, machine setting, and operation. The candidate must be capable of independently handling CNC turning operations, developing programs, and ensuring accurate machining as per engineering drawings and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines.
- Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs as per component drawings and machining requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters.
- Perform tool setting, workpiece setting, tool offset adjustments, and prove-out of new programs.
- Manufacture precision components as per specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues and take corrective action.
- Optimize machining cycles, reduce tool wear, and minimize material wastage.




- Maintain quality standards, machine safety, and production schedules.
- Maintain machine condition, tool records, and production-related documentation.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to ensure timely completion of jobs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in CNC turning.
- Expert knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation.
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, tool offsets, tooling selection, and machining parameters.
- Ability to independently handle complex and precision machining jobs.
- Positive understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and dimensional tolerances.
- Practical experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The candidate must be an expert in both CNC programming and machine operation, capable of independently managing jobs from program development to final component inspection with minimal supervision.

Working Location

PET TOOLS PVT. LTD., MIDC Rabale, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
