Job Title: Rhino Modeller – Rhino–Revit Pipeline
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

VR4BIM is looking for a skilled Rhino Modeller with experience in Rhino–Revit integration to develop accurate and complex 3D models, optimise geometry for BIM workflows, and support seamless data exchange between Rhino and Autodesk Revit.

The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Rhino.Inside.Revit, and BIM modelling workflows, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop accurate and complex 3D geometry using Rhino 3D based on project requirements.
- Clean, optimise, and validate geometry for seamless integration into Revit.
- Transfer and integrate models using Rhino.Inside.Revit and other approved workflows.
- Create, manage, and modify Grasshopper definitions for parametric modelling and automation.
- Support the conversion of Rhino geometry into native Revit elements and families.
- Verify dimensions, coordinates, units, geometry accuracy, and model integrity.
- Coordinate with BIM specialists, Revit modellers, architects, and design teams to resolve modelling issues.
- Maintain organised model files, naming conventions, layer structures, and version control.
- Troubleshoot geometry conversion errors and Rhino–Revit interoperability issues.
- Incorporate design revisions and maintain consistency between Rhino and Revit models.




- Identify opportunities to improve modelling efficiency through automation and workflow optimisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Proficiency in Rhino 3D and complex 3D modelling.
- Working knowledge of Grasshopper and parametric modelling.
- Experience with Rhino.Inside.Revit and Rhino–Revit integration workflows.
- Understanding of Autodesk Revit and BIM principles.
- Knowledge of geometry optimisation, coordinate systems, and model validation.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience converting complex geometry into native Revit elements and families.
- Knowledge of computational design and BIM coordination.
- Experience in architectural, façade, interior, or complex geometry projects.
- Familiarity with BIM standards and model quality control procedures.
