Job Description:
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing drug information to healthcare professionals and patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. The successful candidate will play a critical role in patient care by collaborating with healthcare providers and maintaining accurate medication records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense medications according to prescriptions and ensure proper labeling and storage.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare personnel to optimize medication therapy.
- Perform medication reconciliation and review patient medication histories for accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor?s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license to practice in the relevant state or country.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmaceutical care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient counseling.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Proficient in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records.

- Pharmacy management systems (e.g., Meditech, Pyxis, or similar).
- Electronic health records (EHR) systems.
