Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Fleet Management Executive to oversee vehicle operations, maintenance schedules, fuel consumption, GPS tracking, and fleet documentation. The ideal candidate should have experience in fleet coordination, vehicle utilization, cost control, and statutory compliance, ensuring that all vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day fleet operations and ensure optimal utilization of vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle availability, allocation, movement, and operational performance.
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, servicing, and vehicle repairs.
- Track fuel consumption, mileage, and operating expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor vehicle movements through GPS tracking systems and ensure adherence to assigned routes.
- Maintain records of vehicle registration, insurance, permits, fitness certificates, and pollution certificates.
- Ensure timely renewal of vehicle documents and compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with drivers, transport teams, service centres, and vendors for smooth fleet operations.
- Monitor vehicle breakdowns, arrange repairs, and minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain vehicle logs, maintenance records, fuel reports, insurance details, and other fleet documentation.
- Analyze vehicle utilization, fuel efficiency, maintenance expenses, and operating costs.
- Implement measures to reduce fuel wastage, maintenance costs, and unnecessary vehicle usage.
- Ensure vehicles comply with safety standards and operational requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fleet performance reports for management.




- Support driver coordination and ensure compliance with company vehicle usage and safety policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, or vehicle operations.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing schedules, and repair coordination.
- Experience monitoring fuel consumption, mileage, and fleet operating costs.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and fleet management software.
- Knowledge of vehicle documentation, including insurance, permits, fitness certificates, and pollution certificates.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with experience managing commercial vehicles, heavy vehicles, or construction-related fleets will be preferred.
- Experience in fuel cost optimization, GPS monitoring, vehicle utilization analysis, and maintenance cost control will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple fleet-related activities independently.
