Senior Test Engineer – Manual Testing (Primary) with Automation Experience Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Testing and a good understanding of Test Automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through comprehensive functional, integration, regression, and user-focused testing while contributing to automation initiatives to improve efficiency and coverage.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and test conditions.
• Design, review, and execute detailed manual test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools.
• Validate business workflows, edge cases, negative scenarios, and user experience aspects.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Scrum teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement review sessions.
• Support release validation, certification testing, and production verification activities.
• Contribute to automation efforts by identifying automation candidates and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Continuously improve test processes, test coverage, and quality metrics. Required Skills
• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing with strong Manual Testing expertise.
• Extensive experience in Functional, Regression,



System, Integration, and UAT testing.
• Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in preparing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Data, and Test Summary Reports.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Automation Skills
• Basic to intermediate experience in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Ability to create, execute, and maintain automated regression test scripts.
• Understanding of automation frameworks and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools is desirable. Preferred Skills
• Experience in enterprise web applications and complex business workflows.
• Exposure to database testing and SQL queries.
• Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr or TestRail.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and automation accelerators. Key Competencies
