BizVidya is an EdTech venture focused on building technology-enabled learning solutions, digital educational products, and structured learning experiences. Our goal is to develop scalable digital platforms that connect learners with relevant knowledge, practical skills, and career development opportunities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and mobile applications to support BizVidya’s digital learning products and services.

- Frontend Development: Build intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for learner registration, course discovery, learning dashboards, assessments, progress tracking, and other platform features.

- Backend Development & APIs: Develop reliable backend services, REST APIs, business logic, and integrations to support user management, course delivery, payments, notifications, and platform operations.

- Database Architecture: Design and manage scalable databases for user profiles, courses, learning content, assessments, enrolments, transactions, and learner progress.

- Learning Platform Features: Implement functionalities such as course management, video and content delivery, quizzes, certificates, progress reports, learning paths, and administrative dashboards.

- Third-Party & AI Integrations: Integrate suitable payment gateways, communication tools, analytics platforms, learning technologies, and AI-enabled features where they create meaningful value.

- Security & Performance: Implement authentication, role-based access, data protection, testing, debugging, performance optimisation,



and secure application deployment.

- Product & Team Collaboration: Work closely with the product owner, designers, educators, and business team to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver usable features.

- Deployment & Maintenance: Manage version control, code reviews, testing, releases, technical documentation, and ongoing application maintenance.

- Technical Ownership & Scalability: Contribute to architectural decisions, development standards, technology selection, and a scalable technical foundation that supports BizVidya’s long-term growth.

- Timely delivery of agreed development milestones and product features.

- Reliable, secure, and responsive application performance.

- Successful implementation of core learning platform functionalities.

- Effective testing, bug resolution, and maintenance.

- Quality of code, technical documentation, and development practices.

- Integration of user feedback into continuous product improvement.

- Contribution to product launch, user experience, and platform scalability.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Practical experience in frontend and backend development.

- Proficiency in technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, or equivalent frameworks.

- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, API development, Git,



and deployment workflows.

- Understanding of responsive design, application security, testing, and scalable software architecture.

- Ability to work independently, solve technical problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred: Experience developing EdTech platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), SaaS products, mobile applications, payment integrations, cloud-based applications, or AI-enabled learning tools. Experience with React Native or similar mobile frameworks is an advantage.

Equity-Based Engagement Terms

- This is an equity-only founding-team opportunity, with no fixed monthly salary at the initial stage.

- Expected commitment is 20–25 hours per week.

- Equity allocation will be discussed based on technical expertise, responsibilities, commitment, and measurable contribution.

- A proposed five-year vesting structure will apply, subject to mutually agreed terms and formal documentation.

- Fixed compensation may be considered after funding and revenue stabilisation. This could take 6–8 months or potentially a year, with no guaranteed timeline.

- The developer is expected to take ownership of technical execution and contribute consistently to building BizVidya over the long term.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a hands-on developer who can build products from the ground up, make sound technical decisions, and work closely with the founding team to convert educational ideas into functional, scalable digital learning solutions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment and contributing to both product development and long-term technical strategy.
