Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Development

Identify and approach small and medium-sized industries across Maharashtra, excluding

Mumbai, that require industrial PU paints and coatings.

Develop current customer accounts and expand the company&39s presence in the assigned

territory.

Conduct regular customer visits to identify potential applications and business

opportunities.

Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve assigned revenue and sales targets.

2. Customer Requirement Analysis

Understand customers&39 industrial painting requirements, product specifications,

application methods, and performance expectations.

Identify suitable coating solutions based on customer applications and technical

requirements.

Coordinate with internal technical teams to recommend appropriate products.

3. Product Trials and Technical Coordination

Organise and conduct product trials at customer facilities.

Coordinate with customers and technical teams to evaluate product performance, quality,

finish, and suitability.

Follow up on trial results, address customer concerns, and drive successful product

approvals.

4. Commercial Negotiations and Sales Conversion

Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other commercial

conditions.

Convert successful product trials and qualified leads into regular business.

Develop long-term customer relationships to generate repeat orders and increase account

revenue.

5. Territory and Account Management

Map industrial customers and potential markets across the assigned territory.

Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging business opportunities.

Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports.

Achieve sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and profitability.

Candidate Profile

Experience: Approximately 38 years in B2B sales of industrial paints, industrial

coatings, PU paints, or related industrial products.

Industry Preference: Industrial paints and coatings,



automotive ancillary industries,

engineering, fabrication, metal products, machinery manufacturing, or similar industrial

segments.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial PU paints, coating applications,

surface preparation, and painting processes will be an advantage.

Sales Skills: Proven ability to generate new customers, conduct product demonstrations

or trials, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.

Territory Knowledge: Familiarity with Maharashtra&39s industrial clusters and SME

manufacturing sector.

Communication: Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-

management skills.

Education: Graduate in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Paint Technology,

Mechanical, or a related discipline. Other graduates with relevant industrial sales

experience may also be considered.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

New industrial customers acquired.

Sales revenue and target achievement.

Number of product trials conducted and successfully converted.

Conversion rate from trials to commercial orders.

Growth in repeat business and existing customer accounts.

Territory coverage and sales pipeline development.
