We are looking for a committed and competent Business Analyst to join our international team. You will act as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, analyzed, and translated into well-defined technical requirements.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, software engineers, technology vendors, and other technical teams to support the design and delivery of effective solutions.
Key tasks
- Gather, analyze, and understand business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into transparent and structured functional and technical requirements that can be implemented by development teams.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and software engineers, ensuring a common understanding of requirements and expected outcomes.
- Analyze existing business processes, applications, interfaces,
and data flows to identify appropriate solutions.
- Understand the Avaloq Core Banking Platform and the corresponding banking business processes and functional areas.
- Prepare and maintain requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Support developers during solution design and implementation by clarifying business and functional requirements.
- Support testing and validation activities to ensure that delivered solutions meet the agreed business requirements.
- Assist in root cause analysis and the resolution of functional and production issues.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with internal standards and best practices. Regularly review and update existing documentation to reflect any changes in processes or systems.
