Role Description The Expo Portfolio Lead / Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for overseeing the strategy, planning, and execution of expos and related event portfolios for The Economic Times. The role includes defining the event portfolio roadmap, aligning expo themes with business and editorial objectives, and ensuring each expo meets audience, revenue, and quality targets. Day-to-day responsibilities involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, tracking performance metrics, and optimizing processes across multiple events. The individual will collaborate closely with leadership, editorial, marketing, sales, and operations to design impactful expo experiences and long-term partnerships.



The role also requires ongoing market research, competitor analysis, and stakeholder engagement to refine the portfolio and drive sustainable growth. Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate event performance, and support portfolio-level decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience in project and portfolio management, including planning, prioritization, and oversight of multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Proficiency in program management, with the ability to manage end-to-end event lifecycles, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Solid understanding of finance to manage budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysis for expos and related activities.
• Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder management, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience in events, media, or business conferences, preferably in a leadership or portfolio ownership role.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence without direct authority, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent skilled qualification is an advantage.
• Comfort with using digital tools, dashboards, and project management platforms to track progress and report outcomes.
• Strategic mindset with a strong orientation toward innovation, audience experience, and long-term portfolio growth.
