Role Description The Senior Interior Designer at Lakshi Home will lead end-to-end design projects, from concept development to final execution, in a full time, on-site role based in Chennai. Responsibilities include meeting clients to understand requirements, creating design concepts and space plans, preparing detailed drawings and presentations, and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E.; The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained during construction and installation. The Senior Interior Designer will review and approve construction drawings, oversee site visits, manage project timelines, and mentor junior designers. This position requires balancing creative vision with practical constraints to deliver high-quality interiors that align with client expectations and company standards.



Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Interior Design and FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, with the ability to create cohesive design concepts and material palettes.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture-related coordination to ensure functional layouts and alignment with structural requirements.
• Ability to develop and review detailed Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, and joinery details, for clear communication with project teams.
• Advanced skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools for visualizing and communicating design solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of experience in interior projects.
• Strong project management, time management, and stakeholder communication skills, including experience coordinating with contractors and vendors.
• Demonstrated portfolio of completed residential and/or commercial interior projects, showing creativity, technical competence, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai and conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to design specifications.
