About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Architect with strong expertise in C++, .
NET, and Microsoft SQL Server to drive the design, development, modernization, and support of mission-critical payment processing systems. This role is ideal for a technology leader who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while remaining deeply involved in coding, architecture, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting. You will play a key role in modernizing legacy platforms, building scalable transaction processing systems, and ensuring the reliability of high-volume financial applications. Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
• Own the end-to-end technical architecture of backend payment processing systems.
• Design scalable, high-performance, and secure transaction processing solutions.
• Lead modernization initiatives, including:
• 32-bit to 64-bit migration of native applications.
• Legacy platform modernization.
• Cloud migration initiatives on AWS.
• Define architectural standards, coding guidelines, and engineering best practices.
• Drive design reviews and technical decision-making across multiple teams. Application Development
• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C++ and .
NET technologies.
• Build and enhance Windows Services, COM components, and distributed systems.
• Design and implement asynchronous processing solutions using MSMQ and Kafka.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL Server database solutions,



including:
• Stored Procedures
• Functions
• Views
• Triggers
• Performance tuning and indexing strategies Production Support & Troubleshooting
• Lead root-cause analysis for critical production incidents.
• Troubleshoot:
• Application crashes
• Memory leaks
• Deadlocks
• Performance bottlenecks
• Messaging failures
• Database performance issues
• Utilize tools such as:
• WinDbg
• Visual Studio Debugger
• SQL Profiler
