We are looking for an experienced Murex Developer / Support Engineer with strong expertise in Murex platform support, configuration, release management, production support, and Capital Markets operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience supporting Murex environments across the trade lifecycle and possess a strong understanding of Murex architecture, trade processing, accounting, settlement, liquidity management, and post-trade operations. The candidate will be responsible for application development, configuration management, environment support, deployment activities, batch job monitoring, troubleshooting production issues, and managing Level 2 and Level 3 support activities. The role requires solid technical expertise in Murex, Unix/Linux, Oracle SQL, Python, Shell Scripting, Azure/AWS Cloud, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and exposure to Capital Markets products such as Fixed Income, FX, Money Markets, and Derivatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, support teams, release management teams, infrastructure teams, and development teams to ensure high availability, stability, and performance of the Murex platform.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and support solutions within the Murex platform following Agile delivery methodologies.
• Manage Murex application environments, software upgrades, patch installations, and version migrations.
• Perform Murex configuration activities across various modules and environments.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for production and business-critical systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Murex end-of-day (EOD), start-of-day (SOD), and overnight batch processes.
• Investigate production incidents using system logs, application traces, database analysis, and monitoring tools.
• Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts, Python scripts, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.




• Work with Oracle databases to analyze data issues, optimize queries, and support troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in software release planning, deployment activities, patch management, and configuration management.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Support Integration Testing, System Testing, UAT, and Production deployments.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams to resolve complex application issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, support procedures, and architecture-related artifacts.
• Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and change management activities in line with ITIL practices.
• Ensure platform stability, availability, and compliance with organizational standards and controls.
• Participate in on-call support and critical production issue resolution when required. Required Skills & Experience Murex Expertise
• 7+ years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Murex Development and Production Support experience.
• Strong understanding of Murex Architecture and system components.
• Experience supporting Murex environments including Development, SIT, UAT, and Production.
• Hands-on experience with Murex configuration, release management, deployment, and upgrade activities.
• Experience supporting Murex batch processing and overnight operations. Technical Skills
