- Founder & Director Compensation

We sell on our own website and on Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon and more, shipping to cities across India from our own kitchen and factory. We are growing fast, and so is the team: marketing, creative, operations, quick commerce, kitchen and R&D;, and accounts. Most of these teams are new or recently restructured. Until now the founder has handled people matters directly. This role exists so that culture and hiring get a full-time owner before the next stage of growth, not after it.
What you'll do
Culture and people (about 40%)
· Turn TCK's four brand values into everyday team habits: how we give feedback, celebrate wins and handle mistakes.
· Run onboarding for every new joiner so they know the brand, the business and who to ask within their first week.
· Set up a simple reporting and leave-approval structure, so team leads have a say over their own team's leave and workload.
· Run regular one-on-one check-ins and pulse surveys; spot morale or attrition risks early and bring them to the founder.
· Plan team rituals and celebrations across office, factory and remote team members, including festive-season support for the kitchen and packing teams.
· Act as the first, trusted point of contact for employee concerns and conflicts, and handle them fairly and confidentially. Hiring (about 40%)
· Own hiring end to end for roles from packing staff and executives to senior heads: JDs, sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, offers and joining.
· Work with each hiring manager to define the role, the interview steps and what "good" looks like before the search starts.
· Build sourcing channels: LinkedIn, Naukri, referrals, culinary and design schools, and a small panel of recruitment agencies for senior roles.
· Keep a live hiring tracker with open roles, pipeline stage and time-to-hire, and share it with the founder every week.
· Run reference checks and keep the candidate experience warm and quick, even for people we don't hire. HR operations (about 20%)
· Keep employee records, offer letters, appointment letters and exit paperwork accurate and on time.
· Coordinate attendance and leave data with accounts for monthly payroll, and track PF, ESI and other statutory requirements with our payroll partner or CA.
· Write and maintain a short employee handbook: leave,
working hours
, conduct, POSH.
· Run probation reviews and a simple twice-yearly performance check-in.
· Handle exits with care: exit interviews, handover and full-and-final settlement.

· Working knowledge of Indian labour basics: PF, ESI, gratuity, POSH, Shops & Establishments Act.
· Warm, discreet and firm: people trust you, and you can still say no or have a hard conversation.
