Company Description Ray Ethnic is a fashion and textile brand rooted in India’s rich craft heritage, with a journey that began in 2003 as Reva Handicraft to support rural women artisans skilled in Gujarat’s hand embroidery. In 2006, the initiative evolved into Ray Ethnic, focusing on blending traditional textiles and craft techniques with contemporary design. The brand now has a presence in seven major cities, including Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Pune, Kochi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. Ray Ethnic collaborates with over 1,450 artisans and showcases more than 15 traditional crafts from across India. Every garment is designed as a unique story, emphasizing authenticity, craftsmanship, and cultural legacy. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Graphic Designer will create visual assets for brand campaigns, social media, print materials, and in-store communication that reflect Ray Ethnic’s craft-focused identity. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing graphics and layouts, developing logos and branding elements, selecting and applying typography, and supporting visual concepts for product launches and marketing initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with the marketing and merchandising teams, adapting designs for various digital and print formats,



and maintaining consistent brand guidelines across all touchpoints. The Graphic Designer will participate in brainstorming sessions, prepare design files for production, and stay updated on design trends relevant to fashion and ethnic wear. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to translate brand stories into explicit visual concepts.
• Proficiency in Logo Design and Branding to create and refine brand identities and campaign-specific visual systems.
• Sound understanding of Typography, including font selection, hierarchy, and legibility across digital and print media.
• Experience with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent software).
• Portfolio demonstrating creative work in fashion, lifestyle, or related fields, with an eye for color, composition, and detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Interest in Indian textiles, crafts, and cultural aesthetics will be considered an added advantage.
