Senior Oracle Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant
- Freelance Role: Senior Oracle IAM / SSO Integration Specialist (Freelance)

Remote / Hybrid Rate: Negotiable / Hourly or Milestone-Based Project Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle IAM / SSO Consultant on a freelance basis to lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of our Identity and Access Management infrastructure. The scope primarily involves integrating Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12.2) with Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), Oracle Internet Directory (OID), and Oracle Access Manager (OAM) for Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity synchronization.

Key Responsibilities
• SSO Implementation & Integration: Design and configure end-to-end Single Sign-On (SSO) for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12.2) using Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle AccessGate, and WebGates.
• Directory Management: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) and/or Oracle Internet Directory (OID).
• Identity Synchronization: Set up and manage Directory Integration Platform (DIP) or custom synchronization scripts between Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID, OUD/OID, and the EBS FND_USER table.
• Migration & Upgrades: Lead or assist in migrating legacy directory services (OID to OUD) and upgrading IAM suite versions (e.g., 11g to 12c/14c stack).
• Third-Party Identity Integration: Integrate OAM/OUD with external Identity Providers (IdPs) such as Azure AD (Entra ID), Okta,



or Ping Identity via SAML 2.0 / OAuth.
• Troubleshooting & L3 Support: Resolve complex authentication, authorization, SSL/TLS certificate, and session/token issues across WebGate, WebLogic, OAM, and EBS.
• Documentation & Handover: Produce architectural diagrams, operational runbooks, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams. Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies.
• Core Oracle Stack:
• Deep expertise in Oracle Access Manager (OAM 11g/12c) and EBS AccessGate.
• Expert-level experience with Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID).
• Proven experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.1 / R12.2 integration.
• Security Protocols: Strong knowledge of LDAP, SAML 2.0, OAuth, Kerberos, SSL/TLS certificates, and MFA implementations.
• System Administration: Proficient in WebLogic Server administration, Linux/Unix shell scripting, and basic Oracle Apps DBA tasks (ADOP, autoconfig).
• Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose complex single sign-on redirect loops, cookie issues, and performance bottlenecks independently. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) IAM / Identity Domains.
• Experience with Oracle Identity Governance (OIG / OIM) for user lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating modern cloud IdPs (Azure AD, Okta) directly with EBS using up-to-date SSO connectors.
