Our mission: To solve humanity's housing crisis by building robot-native infrastructure. Elipse is building the operating system + hardware for physical spaces. We're turning housing from a complicated service industry into a technology product — homes with embedded intelligence, integrated robotics, and closed-loop systems for energy and automation. We are going to be Jarvis in real life. We design and build the interiors, false ceilings and electrical systems of homes for leading developers in Hyderabad. Every home starts in Blueprint, our own MEP and CAD platform, which exports directly into our OS (eOS) and our spatial platform. Every home knows its own shape, every wire and every sensor before anyone moves in. ???? ?? ?????? Elipse is looking for a mechatronics engineer to build the parts of our homes that move and respond: furniture and appliances with actuators, systems built into our ceilings and walls, and the electronics that connect them all to eOS. We run our own furniture factory in Kothur with CNC, beam saw and edge banding machines, so you will design, build and install your work yourself, without waiting on outside vendors. You will own each product from mechanism and circuit to installation in a real home. ???? ???'?? ??
• Own the complete development of home automation products: requirements, mechanism design, electronics, firmware, testing and installation




• Design actuated furniture and fixtures: motorized panels, blinds, lift mechanisms and hidden storage
• Design and build the electronics for each product: PCBs, motor drivers, sensors and ESP32 nodes that connect to eOS
• Design safety-critical circuits that must work every time: current sensing, emergency relay shutoff and arc-fault detection
• Design power distribution for nodes across the home, including our 24V DC system
• Design mechanisms in CAD and produce them with our factory
• Build easy pick-and-place arms for the home
• Install and test in real homes alongside our interiors and electrical teams
• Take prototypes to production: create BOMs, design for manufacturing and testing, and work with fabrication and assembly vendors
• Build products that survive real homes: humidity, heat, dust and years of daily use
• Document designs, calculations and test results, and iterate quickly as the product matures ???? ???'?? ?????
• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or proof of exceptional skills
• Experience taking a circuit from schematic to PCB layout to a working, manufactured board (KiCad or Altium)




• Hands-on soldering, including SMD and rework, and debugging with an oscilloscope and multimeter
• Mechanical design in CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks or Onshape), with tolerances and manufacturability in mind
• Experience with motors, actuators and drivers: DC, BLDC, steppers and linear actuators
• Firmware development on ESP32 in C, C++ or Rust
• Understanding of I2C, SPI and UART at the electrical level
• Solid understanding of AC and DC power, wiring and electrical safety
• Experience with kinematics, pick-and-place or residential electrical installation is preferred
• A track record of building mechatronic products that work outside the lab ??? ?? ???? We're a small team building something that hasn't been built before. The hours are long and the pace is fast.
