About the Role
The Associate Investments and Corp Dev will be a key member of the deal team working on strategic initiatives and due diligence on new investment and strategic opportunities. The role has a strong focus on private market investments and M&A;, alongside financial modelling, project management, portfolio monitoring, and corporate development for Bhavin’s Office across all of his companies and portfolios, and multiple geographies globally (US, EU, India, Middle East and more). The role involves conducting in-depth financial and market analysis, competitive landscaping, and market sizing to inform investment decisions across the portfolio, with a particular emphasis on tech and fintech. Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and data books to support investment decisions
• Assist in financial due diligence and regulatory application processes for M&A; transactions
• Collaborate in the development of term sheets and other transaction documents
• Conduct comprehensive market research, deep dives,



and competitive analysis in targeted sectors
• Support the preparation and presentation of market research findings and investment materials
• Perform market sizing and develop insights into emerging trends and opportunities
• Portfolio monitoring: evaluate financial performance by reviewing monthly and quarterly financial and operational updates, comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Co-ordinate with portfolio company Management and external stakeholders (lawyers, bankers, regulators) to drive strategic initiatives
• Train and mentor Analysts in the team Skills
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (vintage models, IRR, cohort analysis, etc)
• Advanced research skills with the ability to perform in-depth market analysis, sizing, and landscaping
• Analytical and structured thinking to translate research insights into actionable recommendations
• Knowledge of M&A; transaction processes and due diligence
• Excellent communication and quantitative skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis tools
• High standards of accuracy and precision Experience and Qualifications
• CA, CFA, or an MBA
• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction/diligence advisory, corporate finance or other relevant fields
• Experience in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and data analysis
• Preferred: Exposure to the entire deal cycle end to end
