Role Description The Injection Molding Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring injection molding machines to produce reusable food containers according to production specifications. The operator will perform routine checks to ensure product quality, adjust machine parameters as needed, and maintain accurate production records. Daily responsibilities include conducting visual and dimensional inspections, handling material loading, managing mold changes, and following safety protocols.
The role also includes performing basic cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment, coordinating with supervisors and quality teams, and supporting continuous improvement of production processes. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Machine Operation and Injection Molding, with the ability to set up, run, and adjust molding machines safely and efficiently.
• Experience with Quality Control and inspection practices to ensure products meet defined standards and specifications.
• Knowledge of Injections and molding processes, including material handling and troubleshooting common process issues.
• Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance on molding equipment to reduce downtime and extend machine life.
• Attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Prior experience in plastics manufacturing or packaging production is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, stand for extended periods, and handle physical tasks related to machine operation.
• Basic education in a technical or manufacturing discipline and willingness to learn and adapt to recent processes and technologies.
