Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Principal to provide academic, administrative and people leadership to our CBSE School with approximately 1,800 students. The Principal will be responsible for ensuring academic excellence, effective school operations, teacher development, student discipline, parent engagement and compliance with CBSE requirements. The ideal candidate should be an experienced school leader with strong communication skills, a progressive approach to education and the ability to effectively manage a large school ecosystem. Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the school.
• Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum, academic calendar and assessment practices.
• Monitor teaching-learning quality and student academic performance.
• Lead, mentor and review teachers, coordinators and academic leaders.
• Drive continuous teacher training and professional development.
• Maintain high standards of student discipline, safety and wellbeing.
• Build strong relationships with parents and other stakeholders and effectively address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with CBSE affiliation, examination and statutory requirements.
• Drive admissions, student retention and overall reputation of the school.
• Promote experiential, competency-based and student-centred teaching practices.
• Review school performance through academic and operational data.
• Coordinate effectively with Management and submit periodic performance reports.
• Develop a positive, accountable and high-performance school culture. Required Qualifications & Experience
• Postgraduate Degree from a recognized university – Mandatory.




• B.
Ed. or equivalent recognized teacher-education qualification – Mandatory.
• Qualification should meet applicable CBSE/NCTE/Government norms for appointment as Head of School.
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in school education preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role such as Principal, Vice Principal, Head of School or Academic Head preferred.
• Significant experience in a CBSE-affiliated school is mandatory/preferred for shortlisting.
• Experience managing a large school with 1,000+ students will be strongly preferred.
• Exposure to CBSE inspections, affiliation processes, board examinations and compliance is desirable.
• Marathi speaking ability is mandatory.
• Strong command of English and Hindi is expected.
• Ph.
D./M.
