We are looking for an experienced SAP BusinessObjects BI Consultant / BI Architect to lead the assessment of an existing enterprise reporting environment and define a modernization roadmap toward Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Key Responsibilities
• Assess the existing SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3 architecture, reporting landscape, data sources, and dependencies.
• Evaluate Web Intelligence (WebI) reports, universes, usage patterns, complexity, and business-critical reporting requirements.
• Analyze the current reporting environment to identify redundancies, technical risks, migration challenges, and optimization opportunities.
• Define a target-state reporting architecture using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop a phased modernization and migration roadmap, including prioritization, dependencies, effort estimates, and decommissioning recommendations.
• Recommend appropriate migration approaches based on report complexity, data architecture, business needs, and technical feasibility.
• Prepare assessment findings, architecture recommendations, and deliverables for stakeholder review.
• Independently drive the assessment and communicate findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders. Required

Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects / enterprise BI,



with hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3.
• Strong expertise in Web Intelligence (WebI), Universe design, Information Design Tool (IDT), and/or Universe Design Tool (UDT).
• Proven experience assessing complex enterprise BI environments, including report inventories, data sources, dependencies, and usage patterns.
• Robust understanding of BI architecture, semantic layers, data models, SQL, and reporting dependencies.
• Experience defining BI modernization strategies, target-state architectures, and phased migration roadmaps.
• Ability to independently lead technical assessments and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects-to-Power BI migration or modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI architecture, and modern analytics platforms.
• Experience with migration estimation, report rationalization, and legacy BI decommissioning. Expected Deliverables
