The Team:

As a part of S&P;'s ESG team, you will develop and maintain accurate, complete and timely data sets while taking into account the business divisions global interests and needs internally & externally.

As a Research Analyst, you will support the integrity and comprehensiveness of the data set by utilizing internal & external public research sources such as government & regulatory documents, stock exchanges, CSR Reports, Industry journals, analyst reports as well as information databases and our internal research tools to collect, summarize, and synthesize meaningful information.

All in all, you will gain exposure to different reports of covered Industries, while having frequent interaction with global analysts to learn the industry dynamics and build a symbiotic work culture.

processing, and analysis of Business Involvement Screening/ESG
- Deliver on pre-defined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and completion.
- You will gain good understanding of ESG concepts, Negative Screening, ESG research methodologies and trends
- Will work within parameters and with supervision to ensure quality and performance to set standards.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders in understanding and building the content
- Keep up-to-date in knowledge of content sets and build industry knowledge by understanding industry trends and reporting standards
- Train the subsequent batches that would be a part of the Business Involvement Screening/ ESG data set
- Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product improvements related to the covered content sets.
- Troubleshoots problems or issues and provide support to the team.
- Perform UAT/BRT testing on the workflow tools and data flowing to the product
- Actively participate on the calls with the management and clients.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications & Skills Required:





- Academic Qualifications - Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent; an advanced degree in a related field is welcome
- Prior exposure to ESG, corporate sustainability, or related domains is desirable. Industry-specific or sustainability-topic expertise will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, including applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) in research, analysis, and document interpretation.
- Ability to leverage AI/LLM tools for tasks such as text summarization, data extraction, and content validation.
- Possess necessary skills to interpret documents like Articles, Bylaws and Prospectus of Companies, Annual reports, Sustainability reports, Codes of Conduct
- Should be willing to work in rotational shifts. Ability to multi-task and work in a team setting, while following flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Very High proficiency in English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills, editorial skills, proof reading skills.
- Convenient taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness.
- Knowledge and keen interest in learning more about existing and emerging sustainability topics
- Agile mindset as it involves a lot of collaboration and coordination.
