We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Commis 1
- Bakery to join our culinary team in Kochi, India. In this entry-level kitchen position, you will work alongside experienced bakers to support the daily production of high-quality baked goods. • Prepare baking ingredients by measuring, mixing, and organizing components according to established recipes and procedures
• Assist in the production of various baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
• Follow recipes precisely and execute baking techniques under the guidance of senior bakers
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure products meet quality specifications
• Assist with portioning, packaging, and labeling finished baked goods
• Support inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and reporting stock levels
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines




• Perform general kitchen duties including cleaning equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining workspace organization
• Respond to feedback from supervisors and continuously improve baking techniques and efficiency Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and fundamental baking principles
• Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively with senior staff
• Preferred: Previous experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food service environment
