Electrical Site Engineer – Job Description

- Supervise and monitor all electrical installation works at the project site.
- Ensure installation of electrical systems as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project teams.
- Monitor the installation of cable trays, conduits, wiring, and cable laying.
- Supervise the installation of electrical panels, and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure proper installation of lighting, power distribution, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor daily site progress and prepare daily progress reports (DPR).
- Ensure all electrical works are completed as per project schedule.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material availability.
- Check material quality and ensure compliance with approved technical specifications.
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems.




- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site safety procedures.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
- Maintain inspection reports, checklists, test reports, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with civil, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to avoid service clashes.
- Ensure proper implementation of approved method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs).
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on electrical work progress.
- Support the final testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
