JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION ENGINEER

### 1. Position Details

- *Designation:* Production Engineer

- *Qualification:* B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

- *Experience:* 2–5 years preferred

- *Age Limit:* Below 35 years preferred

- *Salary:* Negotiable based on experience and skills

- *Joining:* Immediate joiners preferred

### 2. Job Responsibilities

1. Plan, schedule and monitor daily production activities.

2. Supervise anodizing and electroplating production processes.

3. Monitor production targets, productivity and on-time delivery.

4. Ensure quality standards and customer specifications are followed.

5. Monitor process parameters, chemical concentrations, temperature and operating conditions.

6. Coordinate with the quality, maintenance and stores departments.

7. Maintain daily production reports, process records and rejection reports.

8. Reduce rejection, rework, material wastage and production downtime.

9.



Ensure proper handling of chemicals and compliance with safety procedures.

10. Implement 5S, continuous improvement and preventive maintenance practices.

11. Ensure proper use of jigs, fixtures, tanks and production equipment.

12. Support internal audits, customer audits and corrective actions.

### 3. Required Skills

- Knowledge of production planning and shop-floor management.

- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.

- Experience in anodizing or electroplating is an advantage.

- Ability to supervise operators and coordinate with different departments.

- Knowledge of MS Excel and production documentation.

- Positive communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
