JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTS MANAGER

### Position Details

- *Job Title:* Accounts Manager

- *Qualification:* B.Com / M.Com

- *Experience:* 3–10 years in accounting and finance

- *Age Limit:* Below 40 years preferred

- *Software Knowledge:* Tally ERP / Tally Prime, MS Excel and GST portal

- *Salary:* Negotiable based on experience and skills

### Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries.

2. Prepare and maintain the general ledger, cash book, bank book and other financial records.

3. Handle GST returns, TDS calculations, TDS returns and statutory compliance.

4. Prepare bank reconciliation statements and vendor/customer account reconciliations.

5. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

6. Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets and management reports.

7. Monitor cash flow, working capital, expenses and budgetary control.

8. Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, banks and financial institutions.

9. Maintain purchase invoices, sales invoices, debit notes,



credit notes and supporting documents.

10. Manage payroll accounting, employee reimbursements and related statutory deductions.

11. Monitor inventory valuation, material purchases and production-related accounting.

12. Ensure proper documentation and readiness for internal, statutory and customer audits.

13. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

### Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST compliance.

- Practical experience in Tally Prime and MS Excel.

- Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage a team and meet reporting deadlines.

- High integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
