JOB DESCRIPTION: QUALITY CONTROL CHEMIST

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Conduct laboratory analysis using standard testing procedures and approved methods.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
- Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Identify deviations in test results and report non-conformities to the concerned department.




- Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, chemical storage, and safe handling practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, BE / B.tech / M.tech or a related discipline.
- Candidates with relevant laboratory experience in a manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of chemical analysis, sampling techniques, and laboratory testing procedures.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety, chemical handling, and documentation practices.
- Ability to analyze test results and prepare accurate reports.
- Good observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
