CNC Setter cum Operator (VMC/Turning)

Requirements:

- Education: ITI (Machinist/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in setting up and operating CNC Lathe or VMC machines.
- Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings, use precision measuring tools (Vernier, Micrometer), and understand basic G-codes/M-codes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up machines for production, including mounting fixtures, jaws, and cutting tools.
- Take accurate work offsets (X, Y, Z) and tool offsets directly on the control panel (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens).
- Run the first component (first-off) and inspect it to ensure it perfectly matches drawing tolerances before handing it over to operators or starting the batch run.
- Change worn-out tool inserts, adjust wear offsets during production, and resolve minor machine alarms to minimize downtime.
