We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounts department. The candidate will assist with daily accounting activities, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate documentation of financial transactions.
- Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and record sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain books of accounts and update accounting records.
- Assist in GST calculations, GST returns, and TDS-related work.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, bills, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and customers regarding accounting matters.
- Required QualificationsB.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation.
- Valuable numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
