Company Description
Socialpoint Studio is a full production studio in Sector 50, Gurugram. Brands, agencies, creators and podcasters come to us for studio-quality video, from planning and shooting to editing and delivery:
- Podcast and interview production on custom-designed sets.
- Brand films, campaigns and social content for brands and agencies.
- Custom studio design for creators who want a set of their own.
We shoot on cinema-grade cameras with multi-camera setups and do all post-production in-house.
Role Overview:
We're hiring a full-time Video Editor & Studio Associate. Editing is the core of the role – podcast edits and motion graphics for our brand, agency and creator clients – but you'll also work on our in-studio shoots and learn to operate cinema cameras.
This is not a back-room editing seat. We want someone who grows with us and, over time, grows into the role of Studio Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast editing
- Edit multi-camera video podcasts end to end: syncing, angle switching, pacing and cutting dead air.
- Clean and balance audio – noise reduction, levelling, EQ and loudness for YouTube and Spotify.
- Colour-correct and match cameras for a consistent look across episodes.
- Cut 30–90 second vertical clips with captions and hooks for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.
- Create thumbnails, intros, outros and episode templates for recurring shows.
Motion graphics
- Design and animate lower thirds, titles, logo animations, transitions and on-screen text.
- Build branded motion templates so recurring client work is rapid and consistent.
- Produce animated explainers,
social ads and promos for brand, agency and creator clients.
- Composite chroma-key footage shot on our cyclorama stage.
Studio shoots and cameras
- Assist on in-studio shoots: podcasts, interviews, brand films and broadcast-style productions.
- Learn to operate cinema cameras, PTZ multi-camera setups, lighting and audio.
- Support live switching and recording during shoots.
- Help set up, light and break down sets before and after each shoot.
Workflow
- Manage several client projects at once and deliver on agreed timelines.
- Take feedback from clients and the creative team and turn revisions around quickly.
- Keep project files, footage and assets organised and archived.
- Keep the studio’s camera, audio and lighting kit organised and shoot-ready.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience (agency, studio or freelance).
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Working skill in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation.
- Hands-on experience editing multi-camera podcasts or interview content.
- Good ear for audio and basic audio cleanup (Audition, Resolve Fairlight or similar).
- Understanding of short-form formats – hooks, pacing, captions and platform aspect ratios.
- A portfolio or showreel with podcast edits and motion graphics work (mandatory).
- Keen to learn camera, lighting and on-set work, and able to work on-site at our Gurugram studio.
Nice to have
- Colour grading beyond basic correction.
- Experience with chroma-key / green-screen compositing.
- Familiarity with Photoshop or Illustrator for thumbnails and graphic assets.
- Interest in Unreal Engine or real-time graphics.
- Comfort using AI tools to speed up transcription, captioning or rough cuts.
Growth Path
This role is built to grow into Studio Manager for our Sector 50 studio. A typical path:
1. Video Editor & Studio Associate – edit, design motion graphics and assist on shoots.
2. Camera and shoot lead – operate cinema cameras and multi-cam setups, and run shoots on your own.
3. Studio Manager – run the studio day to day: shoot schedules, crew, equipment, client sessions and post-production delivery.
Compensation and responsibilities are reviewed as you take on each step. Compensation and how to apply
Salary: ₹4,00,000 per year (about ₹33,000 per month).
What you get: hands-on training on cinema cameras and studio production, real client work, a variety of clients and formats, and a clear path into our core team.
