What can I expect from this role? ?

- You'll be Posha’s first dedicated validation hire. Today, validation is performed informally by engineers and technicians alongside their regular design work - there is no independent validation function. You're being brought in to build that function from the ground up.
- This is an individual contributor role to start, working hands-on and coordinating technicians to execute tests. As you demonstrate ownership, judgement and results, there's a clear path to growing into a Validation Manager building out a team under you.
- Location is Bengaluru, and this is a work-from-office role - no remote or hybrid option.

What will my work responsibilities look like if I join Posha??

- Translate product and system requirements into a formal Design Validation Plan (DVP) and Product Validation Plan (PVP) spanning mechanical, electrical and firmware/system-level behavior.
- Define test requirements, test specifications and pass/fail criteria for each requirement.
- Write test procedures and execute verification and validation testing across the product.
- Direct technicians to build test setups and test rigs needed to run these tests.




- Where a test needs external lab support ; compliance, environmental, reliability chambers and the like - own that engagement end-to-end: scoping, scheduling and interpreting results.
- Build validation processes, documentation and tooling essentially from zero, replacing today's informal "kitchen validation" approach with something rigorous and repeatable.
- Own the product development lifecycle from a product quality perspective end-to-end, not just execute tests handed down to you.
- Identify and source product/system requirements proactively, including going and finding them when they aren't already handed to you.
- Participate in DFMEA activities and build test plans driven by the risks identified there, combined with available specification sheets.
- Where spec sheets or formal requirements don't exist, develop reasonable estimates and theoretical justification to back the validation and verification approach rather than stalling for a spec.
- Define acceptance test protocols for incoming components and subassemblies.
- Root-cause test failures and work closely with design engineers to close the loop.
- Maintain a requirements-to-test-case-to-results traceability matrix.




- Set up systematic data logging and reporting for test results.
- Good at instrumentation and equipment for measurement

What makes you a match for us? ?

- Experience can range anywhere from about 3 to 6 years - what matters far more than years on paper is the right approach: rigour, coverage-mindedness and a genuine drive to protect product quality.
- Background in consumer hardware or appliances is helpful but not required. We're equally open to adjacent domains ; automotive, industrial, medical devices, electronics manufacturing and similar.
- Comfortable defining test methodology from a blank page, not just executing an existing plan handed to you.
- Able to manage technicians and external lab or vendor relationships to get tests done on time.
- Good to have: familiarity with compliance and certification processes such as UL and FCC.
