The organization supports athletes, coaches and officials through sporting events, technical development and initiatives that connect traditional sports with modern sporting opportunities.

TWAI organizes national-level sporting initiatives, including Kushti Ka Mahasangram (KKM) 2027, a multi-discipline event scheduled for 6–7 January 2027 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. The event will bring together traditional wrestling, strength sports, fitness challenges and mind sports.

Role DescriptionTWAI is seeking a Commission-Based Sponsorship Acquisition Partner to secure brand sponsorships and commercial partnerships for KKM 2027 and other organizational initiatives.

This is a performance-based, independent engagement, with a preference for candidates based in Delhi-NCR. The role is suitable for professionals with existing brand relationships and experience in sponsorship sales, sports marketing, event partnerships or business development.

The selected partner will independently identify prospective sponsors, contact relevant decision-makers, pitch sponsorship opportunities, negotiate terms and drive deals through to closure in coordination with TWAI.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and approach relevant brands, corporate partners and potential sponsors.
- Build a qualified pipeline of sponsorship prospects across sports nutrition, fitness, apparel, consumer goods, technology, media and other relevant sectors.
- Connect with brand managers, marketing heads, CSR teams where appropriate, and partnership decision-makers.
- Present tailored sponsorship opportunities and coordinate proposal discussions.




- Negotiate sponsorship terms and help close approved partnership agreements.
- Maintain prospect records, follow-ups, deal status and expected sponsorship values.
- Coordinate with TWAI to ensure agreed sponsor benefits and deliverables are documented.
- Identify opportunities for long-term brand partnerships beyond a single event.

Qualifications
- Experience in sponsorship sales, business development, brand partnerships, event sales or sports marketing.
- Strong prospecting, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently approach decision-makers and convert prospects into paying sponsors.
- Existing relationships with brands, marketing teams or corporate decision-makers are an advantage.
- Ability to demonstrate previous sponsorship deals personally sourced or closed.
- Robust follow-up, pipeline management and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with the Indian sports, fitness, events or consumer-brand ecosystem is desirable.
- High professional standards and transparent communication.

Compensation and Engagement
- Commission-only; no fixed salary or upfront retainer.
- Commission percentage and payment terms will be mutually agreed upon in writing before engagement.
- Commission will be payable on eligible sponsorship funds actually received by TWAI from sponsors sourced and closed by the partner.
- Sponsorship packages, pricing and agreements require TWAI's approval.
- This is an independent, performance-based engagement—not a full-time salaried position.
