Role Description The Solar Engineer will work on-site in West Bengal (based on South 24 Parganas) in a full time capacity, contributing to the design, analysis, and implementation of solar power systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing site assessments, creating PV and electrical designs, selecting appropriate system components, and preparing technical documentation and drawings. The role involves coordinating with project managers, installation teams, and suppliers to ensure designs are practical, safe, and compliant with relevant codes and standards.

The Solar

Engineer will also support performance analysis,



troubleshooting of installed systems, and optimization of designs to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Participation in client meetings and clear technical communication are important aspects of this position.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and practical experience in the solar industry, including solar power applications and solar systems.
- Proficiency in PV design and electrical design for grid-tied and/or off-grid solar installations.
- Ability to use relevant design and simulation software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar tools).
- Understanding of electrical safety standards, local regulations, and applicable codes for solar installations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients on-site.
- Willingness to conduct field visits, perform site measurements, and support installation and commissioning activities.
