About the RoleOzark & Co. is looking for a skilled UK Year End Accountant with hands-on experience in UK accounting and year-end accounts preparation. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of UK accounting practices, financial reporting, and accounting software, with the ability to prepare accurate year-end financial statements for UK-based clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare year-end accounts for UK limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and other business entities, as applicable.
- Prepare and review Trial Balance (TB), Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets.
- Handle year-end adjustments, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations, control account reconciliations, and ledger reviews.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Work with UK accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Assist with VAT-related accounting and ensure records are maintained accurately.
- Ensure compliance with relevant UK accounting standards and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of client accounts.

Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in UK accounting, preferably with an accounting firm, CA firm, or KPO.
- Practical experience in preparing UK year-end accounts.




- Strong knowledge of UK limited company accounts and financial statements.
- Working knowledge of accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and year-end adjustments.
- Hands-on experience with at least one UK accounting software.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications: B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification. Why Join Us?
