Role Description The Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves designing, developing, and validating embedded hardware for ruggedized military and avionics systems, including circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout in accordance with relevant standards.

Responsibilities include performing component selection and hardware optimization, conducting simulations and analysis for signal integrity, power, and thermal performance, and preparing detailed design documentation. The engineer will collaborate closely with firmware,



software, mechanical, and test engineering teams to integrate systems and support prototyping, lab testing, debugging, and qualification activities. Additional responsibilities include participating in design reviews, supporting certification and compliance efforts, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to continuous improvement of hardware design processes.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Hardware Development and Computer Hardware design for embedded and ruggedized systems.
- Proficiency in Circuit Design and Electronics Hardware Design, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Solid understanding of hardware architecture, high-speed interfaces, power electronics, and mixed-signal design.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or avionics domains, with familiarity with military and aviation standards and qualification processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- Ability to analyze hardware issues systematically, document findings clearly, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading hardware projects, mentoring engineers, and participating in design reviews is highly beneficial.
