NV5 is seeking an energetic and proactive full time Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineers for our Bangalore office. This individual will work as part of a MEP Engineering team. Due to the continued expansion of the international team, we are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineers to lead the design management of our projects and be responsible for establishing continued ways of improving project delivery.
The Engineer will be a suitably qualified and experienced professional, capable of providing Electrical building services engineering system consultancy services for major projects across the Middle East. The experienced professional will be providing sound technical design support on MEP projects, to ensure project requirements and clients’ specifications are fully met. Must be able to work independently with periodic interaction with the Electrical team based in Dubai.
Middle-East Data Center Project Experience are preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of core knowledge & expertise working on middle east projects and aware of all the GCC codes & regulations
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and specification of all electrical building services engineering design.
- Contributing to Technical reports, writing about all electrical engineering systems, either as part of an independent report or a multi-disciplinary report.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Middle East standards.
- Work competently on an independent basis, as well as collaborating within the design team and leading the project team.
- Planning and managing input to CAD for production of design work how a keen willingness to engage and participate within the group’s strategy for BIM development as our tool of choices for all design related issues.
- Working knowledge and understanding of ASHRAE, CIBSE and International/Middle East standards.
- Work competently on an independent basis, as well as collaborating within the design team and leading the project team.
- Planning and managing input to CAD for production of design work how a keen willingness to engage and participate within the group’s strategy for BIM development as our tool of choices for all design related issues.
The successful candidate will have:
- Typically, over 10 years’ experience of Electrical building services engineering.
- Experience in general electrical design software’s such as Amtech and Dialux; experience in Revit is desirable.
- Experience of Middle East projects would be advantageous.
- A relevant degree in engineering, or equivalent qualification, or sufficient suitable experience
- Associate or student member of an appropriate professional body, such as CIBSE, IET etc.
- Achieved or working towards Chartered Engineer status
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate influent English.
- Computer literate including working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

Prerequisites for employment include:
- Bachelor's degree related to Electrical Engineering preferred
- Minimum 3-10+ years in Electrical design.
- Middle East experience preferred (3+ years)
