We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Financial Services, Investment Banking, Asset Management, and Equity Portfolio Management Systems (EPMS). The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Portfolio Managers, Business Stakeholders, Technology Teams, Architects, and QA Teams to gather, analyze, document, and manage business requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.

The candidate will be responsible for translating business needs into detailed functional specifications, epics, features, user stories, business process models, acceptance criteria, and test cases while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. The role requires strong stakeholder management, Agile delivery experience, process modeling capabilities, and an understanding of portfolio management workflows and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Portfolio Managers, Business Users, and Technology Teams to understand business objectives and product requirements.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and business process reviews.
- Analyze and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Translate requirements into well-defined Epics, Features, User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, and Functional Specifications.
- Create, maintain, and manage BRDs, FRDs, Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM), Business Rules, and process documentation.
- Maintain the master Business Requirements Document and ensure requirements remain current throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support backlog management, sprint planning, story refinement, and prioritization activities.




- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure common understanding of requirements.
- Develop and maintain BPMN 2.0 business process flows, workflow diagrams, and operational models.
- Participate in solution design discussions and validate proposed solutions against business objectives.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, QA, and testing teams throughout project execution.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect triage activities.
- Assist in change management, impact assessment, and project governance processes.
- Document decisions, assumptions, risks, actions, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare executive presentations, status reports, and stakeholder communications using PowerPoint, Visio, and related tools.
- Work effectively with global teams across multiple business and technology functions.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of Business Analysis experience within Financial Services or Capital Markets environments.
- Strong experience supporting large financial institutions, asset managers, investment banks, or wealth management organizations.
- Experience working on Equity Portfolio Management Systems (EPMS), Portfolio Management Platforms, Trading Systems, or Investment Management Applications.
- Expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis,



documentation, validation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of:
- BRD, FRD, Use Cases, User Stories
- Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Acceptance Criteria Definition
- Business Rules Management
- Agile and Scrum Methodologies
- SDLC and Product Delivery Lifecycle

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, and story tracking.
- Strong experience creating process models using BPMN 2.0.
- Experience with SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, Production Releases, and Post-Implementation activities.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing project documentation, meeting minutes, presentations, and status reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within Equity Trading, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Portfolio Analytics, Risk Management, or Investment Operations.
- Knowledge of portfolio construction, rebalancing, performance measurement, benchmark tracking, compliance monitoring, and investment reporting.
- Familiarity with tools such as iGrafx, jBPM, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or similar process management tools.
- Understanding of BABOK Framework and Business Analysis best practices.
- Exposure to process reengineering and business transformation initiatives.
- Project Management experience is an added advantage.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CSPO, PMI-PBA, CSM, or equivalent preferred.
