Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Seed Investor at KodetoCareer.

The Seed

Investor will focus on evaluating KodetoCareer’s growth trajectory, product-market fit, and financial performance, and will provide capital to support early-stage scaling. Day-to-day activities include reviewing financial models, user growth metrics, and product roadmap updates, as well as participating in regular strategy discussions with founders and key stakeholders. The role involves advising on fundraising strategy, helping refine go-to-market plans, and using network connections to open doors to future investors, partners, and pilot customers.

The Seed

Investor will also provide ongoing guidance on governance, risk management,



and long-term value creation while supporting KodetoCareer’s mission to help learners build practical skills and early careers.

Qualifications

- Experience in early-stage or seed investing, venture capital, angel investing, or startup financing, ideally within edtech or technology-driven learning platforms.
- Solid skills in financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and interpreting key startup metrics (e.g., customer acquisition, retention, unit economics).
- Ability to assess product-market fit, competitive positioning, and go-to-market strategies in education, talent development, or career-tech sectors.
- Demonstrated capacity to advise founders on strategy, fundraising, governance, and sustainable growth, with a collaborative and respectful approach.
- Established professional network that can support follow-on fundraising, strategic partnerships, or customer introductions for an early-stage company.
- Comfort working remotely with distributed teams, including regular virtual meetings, asynchronous communication, and transparent decision-making.
- Interest in learner success, skills development, and improving access to practical career opportunities for students and early-career professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in startup investing.
