Desired Profile

- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of academic experience with a strong record in teaching, research and academic leadership.
- Strong academic and research credentials from a reputed national/international institution.
- Proven track record in industry-sponsored research, consultancy and externally funded projects.
- Strong publications in reputed journals/conferences, along with patents and technology development.
- Robust industry connect with technology companies, product organisations, GCCs, startups or R&D; organisations.
- Experience in technology transfer, commercialisation or real-world deployment of research.
- Established national and international research collaborations.
- Experience in building Centres of Excellence, advanced laboratories or industry-academic programs.
- Experience in mentoring startups,



deep-tech ventures and innovation programs.
- Ph.D. supervision and strong student/faculty mentoring experience.

- Establish and lead research laboratories and Centres of Excellence.
- Mentor faculty, Ph.D. scholars, students and deep-tech startups.
- Strengthen industry-oriented curriculum and experiential learning.
- Build multidisciplinary research initiatives across AI, engineering and emerging technologies.
- Represent the department at leading academic, industry and research forums.
