LogicHive is currently recruiting experienced PCB Layout Engineers.

We are looking for skilled professionals with strong hands-on expertise in Cadence Allegro (mandatory) and extensive experience in multilayer PCB layout design. The role involves designing and optimizing high-density, high-performance printed circuit board layouts for analog, digital, and mixed-signal applications.

The ideal candidate should have experience with HDI design techniques, high-speed interfaces, layer stack-up definition, signal and power integrity guidelines, and PCB feasibility analysis, along with the ability to collaborate with hardware, mechanical, SI/PI, and PCB fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop multilayer PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro.
- Implement PCB layouts for analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs.
- Apply High-Density Interconnect (HDI) design techniques, including blind and buried vias.
- Develop layouts supporting high-speed interfaces such as DDR4, PCIe, HDMI, USB, and other high-speed technologies.
- Define and optimize PCB layer stack-ups, including stack-up calculations and layer allocation.
- Validate designs against Design for Excellence (DFX) requirements and Signal Integrity/Power Integrity (SI/PI) guidelines.
- Perform PCB feasibility analysis, layer optimization, and board size optimization.
- Design high-density and compact PCB layouts while meeting electrical and mechanical requirements.
- Coordinate with hardware, mechanical, SI/PI, and PCB fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Review PCB layouts and implement design improvements to meet performance, reliability, and fabrication requirements.
- Ensure compliance with established PCB design standards, guidelines,



and project specifications.

Required Technical Skills
- PCB Design Tools: Cadence Allegro — mandatory hands-on experience.
- PCB Layout Design: Multilayer PCB Layout Design, High-Density and Compact PCB Layouts.
- PCB Technologies: HDI Design, Blind Vias, Buried Vias.
- High-Speed Interfaces: DDR4, PCIe, HDMI, USB.
- Signal & Power Integrity: SI/PI Guideline Validation.
- PCB Stack-Up: Layer Stack-Up Definition, Stack-Up Calculations, Layer Optimization.
- Design Optimization: PCB Feasibility Analysis, Board Size Optimization, Design for Excellence (DFX).

Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with alternative PCB design tools such as Altium, PADS, or Xpedition.
- Experience with advanced multilayer PCB designs and high-density routing.
- Knowledge of high-speed PCB design considerations and signal integrity requirements.
- Experience coordinating with hardware engineering, mechanical engineering, SI/PI, and PCB fabrication teams.
- Strong analytical, design optimization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in PCB layout design.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro is mandatory.
- Proven experience designing multilayer PCBs for analog, digital, and mixed-signal applications.
- Practical knowledge of HDI design techniques, blind/buried vias,



and high-density PCB layouts.
- Experience working with high-speed interfaces such as DDR4, PCIe, HDMI, and USB.
- Good understanding of layer stack-up definition, stack-up calculations, and PCB layer optimization.
- Experience validating designs against DFX and SI/PI guidelines.
- Ability to perform PCB feasibility analysis and optimize board dimensions and layer utilization.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and fabrication teams.
- Must be available to join immediately.
