Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Functional & Automation Finance Testing Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance, and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 Finance modules, hands-on expertise in Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, and experience automating Oracle Forms-based applications, APIs, and database validations.

The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable automation frameworks, validating end-to-end financial business processes, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for Oracle EBS Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).
- Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript for EBS web and HTML-based applications.
- Automate Oracle Forms-based workflows using SikuliX, OpenCV, PyAutoGUI, or equivalent image-based automation technologies.
- Develop API automation scripts for REST/SOAP services and Oracle EBS integrations.
- Perform database validation using Oracle SQL and Python/Node.js database connectivity libraries.
- Automate end-to-end financial business processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
- Validate journal processing, invoice processing, payment processing, financial reconciliation, and transaction accuracy.
- Build reusable automation frameworks, test utilities, test-data management solutions, and business-process libraries.
- Integrate automated test suites with Git-based repositories and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins.
- Implement automated test reporting, execution dashboards, test evidence, and failure analysis using Allure or equivalent tools.




- Collaborate with Finance Functional SMEs, Oracle EBS technical teams, developers, and Quality Engineering (QE) teams to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, distinguish application defects from script or framework issues, and improve automation reliability.
- Explore AI-assisted testing capabilities, including test-case generation, test-data generation, intelligent failure analysis, and self-healing automation.

Required Technical Skills
- Oracle EBS Functional Testing

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12/R12.2.
- Functional knowledge of Oracle Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
- Understanding of financial business processes and Oracle EBS transaction lifecycles.
- Experience testing Oracle Forms-based and web/HTML-based EBS applications.
- Knowledge of financial transaction validation, reconciliation, and accounting workflows.

2. Test Automation
- Robust hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience designing and maintaining reusable, scalable automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer, or equivalent automation tools is an advantage.
- Experience with SikuliX, OpenCV, PyAutoGUI, or similar technologies for Oracle Forms automation is highly desirable.

3. API and Integration Testing
- Experience developing automated tests for REST and SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with Postman or equivalent API testing tools.
- Understanding of Oracle EBS interfaces, integrations, concurrent programs, and external system connectivity.

4. Database Testing
- Strong Oracle SQL skills.
- Experience validating Oracle EBS transactions directly against database tables and views.




- Understanding of EBS table relationships and financial transaction data structures.
- Familiarity with Python or Node.js Oracle database drivers, JDBC, or equivalent connectivity technologies.

5. CI/CD and Engineering Practices
- Experience integrating automation frameworks with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of Git branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Experience with automated test reporting, execution dashboards, and failure analysis.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized test execution is an advantage.

Preferred Skills
- Experience automating financial reconciliation and accounting validations.
- Knowledge of SFTP, XML, CSV, and file-based Oracle EBS integrations.
- Experience with concurrent programs and scheduled or batch processing.
- Exposure to performance testing or integration testing of Oracle EBS.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with AI-assisted software engineering or AI-powered Quality Engineering tools.
- Knowledge of intelligent automation, self-healing frameworks, and AI-driven test optimization.
