About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Architect with strong expertise in C++, .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server to drive the design, development, modernization, and support of mission-critical payment processing systems.

This role is ideal for a technology leader who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while remaining deeply involved in coding, architecture, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting. You will play a key role in modernizing legacy platforms, building scalable transaction processing systems, and ensuring the reliability of high-volume financial applications.

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Solution Design

- Own the end-to-end technical architecture of backend payment processing systems.
- Design scalable, high-performance, and secure transaction processing solutions.
- Lead modernization initiatives, including:
- 32-bit to 64-bit migration of native applications.
- Legacy platform modernization.
- Cloud migration initiatives on AWS.
- Define architectural standards, coding guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Drive design reviews and technical decision-making across multiple teams.

Application Development

- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C++ and .NET technologies.
- Build and enhance Windows Services, COM components, and distributed systems.
- Design and implement asynchronous processing solutions using MSMQ and Kafka.




- Develop and optimize complex SQL Server database solutions, including:
- Stored Procedures
- Functions
- Views
- Triggers
- Performance tuning and indexing strategies

Production Support & Troubleshooting

- Lead root-cause analysis for critical production incidents.
- Troubleshoot:
- Application crashes
- Memory leaks
- Deadlocks
- Performance bottlenecks
- Messaging failures
- Database performance issues
- Utilize tools such as:
- WinDbg
- Visual Studio Debugger
- SQL Profiler
- Extended Events
