DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a versatile, fast-paced, and proactive Media & Social Media Specialist to capture the vibrant life of our school community and translate it into compelling, trends-driven content. In this role, you will lead our digital presence by managing our social media channels end-to-end, producing high-quality photos and videos, and creating engaging written and visual content that reflects our educational ethos. Because vibrant school events, celebrations, and activities occur across varying schedules, this position requires flexibility beyond a traditional 9-to-5 setup. You will work closely with leadership, faculty, and students to ensure our school’s identity and achievements are effectively communicated to both current families and prospective admissions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Content Creation & Digital Storytelling: Conceptualize, write, design, and produce engaging, trend-aware content—including short-form reels, long-form videos, graphics, and written captions—tailored for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Photography & Videography: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photographs and video coverage of daily campus life, academic milestones, sports meets, cultural programs, and special school events.
- Social Media Management & Analytics: Oversee content scheduling, community management,



and audience engagement; track key performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion) to continuously refine content strategy and increase brand visibility.
- Event Coverage & Flexible Execution: Adapt working hours around the school’s agile calendar, ensuring full live or post-event media coverage during early mornings, late afternoons, or weekend events as required.
- Institutional Alignment: Collaborate with academic coordinators and school administration to translate complex educational frameworks, student achievements, and school values into accessible, parent-friendly media.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience in content creation, video production, and social media management. At least 3 years of experience working directly within an international school setting or a reputed educational institution.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in professional photo / video hardware and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Canva, CapCut) alongside expert knowledge of social media platform algorithms and analytics tools.
- Communication skills: Should have good English communication skills to connect with people across levels.
- Agility & Independence: Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage tight deadlines, and proactively spot story opportunities across campus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adjust working schedules based on event dates, school functions, and dynamic campus activities.
