Supporting Actions Learning Needs Analysis &

- Curriculum Design

- Partner with business leaders, plant heads, functional leaders and SMEs to identify capability gaps and learning requirements.
- Conduct TNA for technical, operational, behavioral, leadership, safety, quality and compliance programs.
- Design learning journeys, competency-based curricula, certification pathways and blended interventions aligned with business priorities.

Instructional Design &

- Content Development

- Apply adult learning principles, learning science and frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy and Kirkpatrick.
- Develop learning objectives, curriculum frameworks, storyboards, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, assessments, microlearning and digital modules.
- Create scenario-based learning, simulations, case studies, gamification, interactive exercises and knowledge checks.

Technical &

- Manufacturing Learning Solutions

- Collaborate with SMEs across mines, smelters, refineries, power plants, fabrication units and corporate functions.
- Develop content on safety, SOPs, equipment operations, maintenance excellence, quality systems, sustainability, operational and manufacturing excellence.
- Support skill development, certification and workforce transformation initiatives.

Digital Learning Development &

- Deployment

- Design and oversee e-learning, video-based learning, VILT, mobile learning, learning campaigns and knowledge repositories.
- Create and review vendor storyboards; ensure digital assets meet LMS and SCORM standards.
- Drive content migration, digitisation and deployment through CSOD and other enterprise learning platforms.

Stakeholder &

- SME Management

- Act as the interface between L&D;, business stakeholders, SMEs and external partners.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, gather inputs, manage review cycles and secure timely approvals.




- Build robust cross-functional relationships across businesses and locations.

Vendor &

- Project Management

- Manage instructional design agencies, content vendors and multimedia partners.
- Prepare SOWs, project briefs, schedules and deliverable trackers; monitor timelines, budgets, milestones and quality.
- Conduct vendor reviews and ensure timely handover of source files, documentation and project assets.

Quality Assurance &

- Governance

- Review assets for instructional effectiveness, technical accuracy, learner engagement and branding compliance.
- Conduct UAT before deployment and maintain repositories, version control and content governance processes.
- Ensure consistent quality standards across learning solutions.

Learning Analytics &

- Continuous Improvement

- Monitor effectiveness through assessments, feedback, engagement, completion and business impact measures.
- Analyse learning data and recommend improvements based on evidence and stakeholder feedback.
- Improve learning frameworks, templates and content standards continuously.

Success Measures / KPIs

- On-time delivery of learning projects and adherence to budget, quality and branding standards.
- Learner satisfaction, assessment outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction and reduction in revision cycles.
- Adoption, completion and successful deployment of digital learning aligned to business outcomes.

We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to create engaging, scalable and measurable learning solutions for Hindalco’s diverse workforce. The role will partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, manufacturing units, mines, plants, corporate functions and external learning partners to translate business needs and complex technical content into high-impact learning experiences. The incumbent will manage the complete instructional design lifecycle, from learning needs analysis and curriculum design to content development, digital learning creation, quality assurance, vendor coordination and deployment through enterprise learning platforms.
