Role Description The House Manager role at Le Château is a full-time, on-site position based in Goa, India.

The House

Manager will oversee daily household operations, including staff coordination, scheduling, and supervision of housekeeping, maintenance, and service providers. This role manages inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure the home is well-stocked, functional, and maintained to high standards.

The position requires proactive problem solving, explicit communication with principals, and consistent documentation of household activities, budgets, and maintenance records.

Qualifications

- Strong household and operations management skills, including staff supervision, scheduling, and process implementation.
- Experience in hospitality or luxury service environments, with a focus on guest experience, discretion, and service excellence.
- Proficiency in vendor and contractor management, budgeting, inventory control, and basic facilities oversight.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple priorities in a energetic environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages in Goa is an advantage.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability, with a client-focused and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (email, calendars, spreadsheets) for scheduling, reporting, and record keeping.
- Prior experience as a house manager, estate manager, or in a comparable role; hospitality or management education is beneficial.
