Role Description The Ground Instructor will deliver high-quality theoretical aviation training to pilot students in an on-site classroom setting at our Jaipur location. This full-time role involves preparing and conducting lectures on core aviation subjects such as air regulations, aerodynamics, navigation, meteorology, aircraft systems, and human factors. The instructor will design lesson plans, develop training materials and assessments, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback and mentoring.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with relevant aviation authority standards, maintaining accurate training records, and supporting students in exam preparation and certification pathways.

The Ground





Instructor will collaborate with flying instructors and academy staff to align ground training with practical flight training and uphold the academy’s safety and training excellence standards.

Qualifications

- Aviation knowledge and instructional skills: Strong understanding of aviation theory (navigation, meteorology, air regulations, aircraft systems, human performance) and proven ability to teach complex concepts clearly.
- Training and curriculum development: Experience creating lesson plans, training materials, and assessments that align with regulatory requirements and academy standards.
- Communication and classroom management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners, manage classroom dynamics, and provide effective feedback.
- Technical and regulatory familiarity: Knowledge of DGCA or other relevant aviation authority regulations, standard operating procedures, and safety practices; comfort using digital tools for presentations and learning management systems.
- Education and experience: Preferably a Commercial Pilot License holder, Ground Instructor rating, or equivalent aviation qualification; prior experience as a ground school instructor or trainer is highly desirable.
- Professional attributes: Robust attention to detail, high standards of integrity, student-focused mindset, and ability to work collaboratively with training and administrative teams on-site in Jaipur.
- Additional beneficial qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in aviation, science, engineering, or a related field; experience preparing students for written licensing exams; proficiency in English and familiarity with modern training methodologies.
