Full Stack Intern (2 Openings) – GrenAI

Remote | Chennai-based candidates only | Minimum 3 months | ₹5,000 per month

Wanted: Misfits

Different strengths. Shared trust. Real products.

"Nobody here is normal. That's the whole point."

About GrenAI

GrenAI is a bootstrapped AI and software solutions company. We're building something different from the nine-to-six, fixed-desk, constant-supervision way of working. We give misfits the freedom to discover their strengths, learn from their weaknesses, and grow in their own way.

We don't expect you to know everything. We expect you to be curious, take ownership, and keep learning.

What you'll do

- Build real products using React, Python and AI
- Work across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and AI integrations
- Choose your strengths, explore new areas, and learn through real-world development
- Get mentorship, guidance and code reviews, so you're never left to figure everything out alone

What we value

- Freedom: manage your own schedule without unnecessary supervision
- Ownership: take responsibility, experiment and share your ideas
- Mentorship: get guidance when you're stuck and support when you try something new
- Transparency: honest communication about challenges, finances and our roadmap

Work, your way
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: No fixed hours. Finish your tasks for the day, then rest easy
- Mode: Day or night, you choose
- Location: Remote,

but you must be based in Chennai
- Duration: Minimum 3 months

Stipend

₹5,000 per month. To be honest with you: GrenAI is bootstrapped and not yet generating revenue, and the stipend is funded by the founder. We'll review it when revenue and our financial position allow, but an increase or timeline cannot be guaranteed.

Your future with us

Want to stay? As the business grows and can support full-time roles, we'll consider the people who helped build GrenAI. Full time conversion isn't guaranteed.

Want just the internship? That's fine too. You'll gain practical experience, contribute to real products, and receive an internship certificate.

You might be our misfit if

- You know React and Python, or can learn them quickly
- You're curious about AI and eager to build with it
- You prefer ownership over rigid job titles
- You're comfortable experimenting, learning and asking for help
- You value trust, honesty and meaningful work

No perfect resume needed. Just curiosity, commitment and the courage to build.

Selection process

- One interview
- NDA and internship agreement
- Three-month commitment confirmation

How to apply

We'd rather know your power than your percentage.
